Using a twin-door rubber floor in a single slider van

Hi,

I am currently looking for an OEM rubber load mat for my swb Kombi, single door. Would a mat from a twin door van look silly after carpet has been added on top?

My search so far brings up quite a few mats for twin doors, but very few for the single.

Also, being a triple bench, most come with extra holes for the 2+1 seat combination. Is there a tidy way to blank these holes?

Thank you in advance!

Hiya I have one from a twin door fitted in my single and have added thermoliner in the gap to make up the height / fill the missing area. I’m going to cover it with furniture anyway..something else to consider is my mat came from a panel van with bulkhead so in my no bulkhead van there are gaps at the front corners where they mould the mat to allow for the bulkhead which is more annoying to me than the big step part that’s missing.

It wasn’t obvious to me that it was a bulkhead one on the advert pics before I bought it, so worth looking out for, however at least it is a plain mat with no seat holes cut in it which is a plus !

Thanks for the response.

I bit the bullet and grabbed one for the single door, I don't think I could live with the gap!

I'm pleased I did, it fits snug and finishes off the kombi conversion nicely.

I just need to consider an option to cover the 6 bracket holes I don't need now!
