Van left in D with handbrake on ….

Hi all …. Have I ( I say I but I actually mean my wife ) left the T6 in D and put the hand brake on . Jumped out and then I jumped in a minute later and moved it . Would this have caused any damage at all ?

shouldn't have done . .

I'm surprised the van didn't try to pull off. . . you must have a good handbreak.

but next time, remind her to select Park.

Nah, I tried it once just to find out - the van will try to set off for a couple of seconds then when it realises the handbrake is staying on it disengages the clutch until you take the handbrake off.

Excellent training technique….you could add a couple of fake phone calls to dealers about cost of fixing damage done!!!

That's a really cruel and unpleasant thing to do.....exactly what I'd have done!
