Vanstyle T6 tailgate curtain track

How do I get around to fit a vanstyle lower track on a t6 tailgate with a plastic cover over the rear wiper arm motor. If I put it below there seems to be a lot of tension on the curtains . Any ideas welcome

Shape it to sit just on top of the cover. It should bend OK and if you do it carefully the curtain will still slide OK. It'll be a little slack in the middle though.
