LED are are sensitive to polarity. They work connected one way + or - and not the other way around, - or +. If that makes sense. some times switching terminals around might work. I can not advise further than that, only kinder garden stuff I am afraid.

Thanks. I’m trying to find out thro VANWORX. Eg what make is the system, if a new remote can be purchased were are the components or connections located to be able to test or a circuit diagram but no response. It’s a original cost was£500 , lol so I’m expecting Blackpool type moodlighting. It never worked with previous owner. Can’t contact original purchaser. Thanks

I hope that someone more electro technically gifted than me, might come to your assistance soon. I am quite sure someone on here will have the answers to your problem.

Not much detail, but you mentioned a remote?
Normally these remotes have infrared so you might need to point it in the direction of a very small receiver?
Can you post a picture of the remote?

it is infra red and it appears to be working inasmuch looking at it thro a iPhone camera lense, but does not operate the moodlighting. When switching system on switch is lit up and moodlighting flash or flicker once and that's it. Pointed remote all over the place but no result.

I've got one of those the receiver is tiny and might have gone back behind the trim.
If you find the controller you can then test.
Also, if you suspect the controller, I have an old one I could post you.

Thanks for reply. Any idea were controller is sited? Could you post an image of it?

Is it a strip LED then its probably sited close to the start of the LEDs

There are 3 strip LEDs that we can see one under bed seats, one in roof above seats and one in cubbyhole hole above sink. . Don't know if there is anymore these e the ones we have notice that flicker flash as we switch on. Don't seem much for a £500 installation lol? Would just like to see it working ! Have van just two months so still fining way! Thanks

If its an Infra red transmitter you should be able to see the controller. Or at least the IR receiver part. It will probably look something like this:

Let us know what you find when you have the van back. (or don't find lol)

In mine the receiver is located on the power switch unit on the indicator needle panel. The control box is behind the switch panel itself.

I had an identical issue and they fitted a current regulator of some description (inline resistance?) that cured it... Ring them I am sure they will help out with information/advice.

SOLVED.
Thanks for all inputs I’m embarrassed to say what problem was.Previous owner had had it for 18months and said it had never worked We sat on R R bench set pointing and sweeping the front and sides to operate the infra red receiver werever it was. No luck. Lol
Accident ly pointed remote to rear roof line and bingo lights on. Thanks everyone E7B4CFA0-C62D-434C-8CC1-7A22E1879891.jpeg79B45E35-1326-4E22-8064-F9AF6A5FD46D.jpeg6FAC707C-6B4B-49D1-B51E-B40D96472AC8.jpeg
