VCDS broke my drivers (probably)

Recently got a HEX-NET, ran through the installation and all that jazz, working, great, move on. Now I'm trying to prototype a microcontroller to do some smart shit in the van and I can't flash the firmware! Now of course this could be entirely coincidental, but it's been working fine on my laptop for a a few years, then suddenly stopped working after VCDS wanted to install drivers and started working again after reinstalling my CH340G drivers. I wonder what chip Ross-tech are using in their devices. $10 says CH340G.

Not overly impressed!

Going to be real annoying if I have to keep reinstalling drivers to swap between them. Via wifi is great but seems significantly slower, so was going to use the cable for full scans. Anyways, rant over, carry on.

Just checking - you didn't install VCDS legacy drivers (which are not needed for the HEX-NET nor HEX-V2)?

Uh, maybe? "Yes, next, next, agree to sell you my soul for $1, hurry up and install"
