Ventilation idea?

For the fan to extract air there needs to be a route for air to enter the van, preferably low down.
Obviously this fan will only work in day time and if you are in the van I presume opening a window is the best means of ventilation.
So if you plan on using it to ventilate the van while unattended without opening window voiding insurance an additional vent such as a floor drop out vent maybe required.

This is a popular model in Finnish diy campers, haven't heard anything negative about it. They also use this model on sailboats.

Hi it has a internal battery too that can run the fan at night if needed

OK that’s good, I’m also in the market for a fan but I don’t want to cut a hole in my roof. I’m looking into forced draught from under the van and venting out through the slightly open cab windows at night
