Victron Lynx distributor

I’ve been tidying my electrics and wondered if anyone has used or is using the Victron Lynx ?
It’s on offer at the moment and by the time i’ve bought busbars and various fuses there isn’t much difference in price to the Lynx set up

a very good bit of kit,, ,

they all bolt together longways - so check you have the space to fit it all. ( i didnt have the space in the seatbase with a battery)

they work very well in a crafter garage setup,

Yeah they're very nice but they're big, so you don't often see them in our little vans!

Just had a quick look at the Lynx (I love a gadget) and even to my eye, they look waaay too overengineered for whatever uses we could put them to in our vans. They are designed to handle 1000A and the fuses are Mega fuses. From the blurb, they are aimed at battery banks & high current applications, not running a few LED lights and a fridge. Or am I missing the point?

No not missing the point at all I was looking at the cost of decent busbars and fuses etc and came across this all in one from Victron for not much more cost wise so wondered if anyone was using one

Your exactly right, we have fitted a few of these in properties along with quatros/multiplus etc when people are utilising solar and/or battery systems, good bit of kit for that purpose
