Victron Orion-tr smart 12-12-30 - ignition switch or not required?

Hi i am about to setup an under seat battery with the Victron Orion-tr smart 12-12-30, and would like to find out if i need to add a voltage detection wire similar to c-tek? from what i can see i might be an auto detection scenario and wondering if anyone knows otherwise.

You can do either.

But IGN feed is better than auto.

And BCM RUN is better than IGN.
