Volt display in ceiling cubby-hole

Hi guys,
Can anyone help me, I’m looking into fitting a voltage display in my t6.1 up in the headlining where the blanking plate is . I’m sure I saw a post about something similar but can’t find it, has anyone else done this?
If so what volt display setup did you use?
would be nice to see what power my battery has left!

Voltage alone will only help you approximate the state of charge. Better to read through the post above.

On the display, did you mean this;

Renogy DCC50S Display

I finally managed to get the thing fitted and wired. I got an acrylic fascia laser cut for it and now just need a knob for the dial. I fitted a USB socket under the display to do any tweaks I need without de-installling the thing. Here it is; Boopzz I'm not sure that the Charging State data...

I have been toying with the idea of hooking up this display to a Victron Smart Shunt. It would be exactly what you need. Can you wait 12 months?

Interesting , thank you guys and far more complicated than I was imagining!
it looks like the easiest option would be a victron smart shunt ( my dc-dc charger and solar are victron too) then I guess add a display . Although if it’s on an app on my phone that’s just as good ?

I wish the smart shunt had been available when I installed my kit, I wanted the tech to be fit, forget and out of sight mostly.
