Hi All, I'm currently running 16'' BFG AT2 KO2 on steel rims (T30) and looking for a change as I'm finding them pretty noisy, very firm and a magnate for stones.
I'm doing less off road than I thought I would be so looking for something more motorway friendly while still having the swamper look. Have identified a few different options and would really appreciate any thoughts on which way I should go. Options below and thanks in advance!

-General Grabber AT3
-Falken Wildpeak AT01
-Geolander GO15
-Cooper Discoverer® Road+Trail™ AT
-BFG trail terrain

I have the Falken Wildpeaks. I really liked them when super heavy loaded on my cross Europe trip. however now I am quite empty and light as its just a LWB shuttle with total four seats I find them a bit skittish especially in the wet. I need to pay with the pressures a bit as 45 might be a bit too high although at that they dont seem inflated properly. LOL.

I used to have GG on my old T4 and there were the dogs doolies.

I have the Cooper AT's on mine. It's early doors yet but dry weather performance is good and they're quiet. Not tried them on the wet yet.

Coopers on mine too. Good in the dry, good on gravel and soft fields, quite poor on wet tarmac - maybe was expecting too much from them but definately notice your not running a road tyre when it’s greasy / wet.

Other than that, love the look of them compared to others so happy to just be that bit more cautious in the wet.

I can further update on this.

I've done 60 miles today, about half motorway, the rest country road, some of it single track. I've done about 250 miles in total on them so they're nicely scrubbed in,

No problems at all the the Coopers, no squirrelly moments, no need to nurse them along the dicey bits, no loss of gripmor traction at any point, so I was able to concentrate fully my driving. Now, I'm and an old Class 1 dibble pilot so I'm a lot smoother on the controls than modern point-and-squirt merchants, but even so I came away quite pleased with them.

I've not found any real grounds to criticise them thus far.

Bear in mind I'm on 235/55 r18 so it doesn't automatically translate into similar performance on 16, but the indicators are good.
