Hi all,

I've got one more set of VW 18" Amarok steels on offer.

£400 collection from The Van Cave, South Petherton, Somerset.

£420 delivered.

These were part of the group buy offer that lasted all of 90 minutes on Friday evening, but one buyer has had to change their mind so there's a set up for grabs! See the following link for the Group Buy Thread.

All I need to secure the wheels is a PM confirming that you want them.

Cheers,

Chris.

I tried to PM you but it did not seem to work. I am not sure how the PM functions or how to operate it or if it is private or open?

Click on the persons Avatar and it will you should see the option to 'Start Conversation'
If that's not working, i'd suggest mentioning in this thread that you actually want the wheels, to stop them selling elsewhere. Either way, if you do want them, Chris will be able to get in contact with you somehow.

Thank you for the advice and the consideration. I am grateful. Chris spoke with me via pm. I will not make a prchase of these wheels.
I am very poor with normal IT and it has been quite a few years since last using any forum. However then, I was on forum across the World So I am extremely rusty and more used to just following things on the side. Then one just tends to look for facts only and ignore personal interactions between people but I guess that subliminally one may form opinion and have is a tendency to gravitate towards certain people. I have developed faults however. Before when just looking for certain facts, I developed the habit of skim reading and only seeing the particular things of interest. Unfortunately I still have that tendency and can join a conversation that I may have not properly read. I am sure that occasionally, some may wonder what I am on.
It has been quite an experience talking with people and it can be quite warming. I find that I am socialising far more than I thought I might have thought and I have quite enjoyed some of the banter or crack that can flash about particularly in the evenings when the is a small but good crowd. I also have to say just how absolutely staggered I am by peoples ingenuity and technical ability.

I agree! It can be warming and the craic good. I enjoy seeing folk on this forum help others and some of the ribbing that goes on, particularly during lockdown

Ah now, is that how the word might be spelt. No wonder I had all them sniffer dogs nosing up to me, it wasn't the chatty conversation, then and when I told them. That I attended a most excellent Approved School that taught me to repair and unpick dem locks and other useful and practical tasks I was wrestled to the floor and strip searched. And here is me thinking that they were just after me body the pervy lot! Hands all over de place, goodness gracious me, couldn't look them in the eye. I didn't think much of the spartan accommodation either wont be goin back there again, the room service was lowsy and the PJs... well, they were just paper, very cheap and nasty, most likely from China. Still the lovely lovely gentleman at the reception desk was very nice, he had to let me out cause the door was stuck. Probably something to do with the couple next door, they were at it all night

All this Hilaryaty is giving me a complex
