VW T5 Multivan 2005 single swivel seat top tether point

Hi guys I'm buying a new child seat and it seems that by the latest law there are only two options for me:

1. isofix with extra leg to the floor
2. isofix with top tether

I don't like option 1. as those seats take a lot of space and are not suitable for when kid is bigger.
So I'm looking into an isofix seat with top tether anchoring. However, I'm struggling to find top-tether anchor point on my seats in second row. There is no designated point which would be marked. However, on the top of the plastic trim (just behind it) I can see a bar going across and attached to the same place as isofix mounts. See the image attached.
Is this my top-tether anchor point or my van doesn't have them? I've read around that from 2006 it was a standard, but my van is 2005.

Was Isofix even a thing back in 2005?!

And I'm fairly sure you don't have to take your seats apart to use the top tether (if your bus has top tether!)

My 2018 Caravelle (Multivan in Europe) has top tether on the single rear seats:

But it's not that bar, it's another one below it.


Does your 3 seater bench not have top tether points?

If not, maybe swap a seat for a later one.
