VW Transporter won’t start

Hello,

I have got a T6 2016 which won’t start showing on dash press clutch after testing found no power to the ignition wire on starter could this be a fuse or immobiliser? Doors won’t unlock on key either after putting a new battery in key either wonder if the 2 issues are related somehow?

As always would more than helpful to know what engine & gearbox - the exact engine code on configuration sticker (under dash by steering column)

Also a proper fault code scan might pinpoint the culprit.

Please just clarify - doesn't even crank or cranks but engine doesn't start

I would guess doesn't crank - obviously. The clutch position sender, or brake light switch?

immobiliser?

Not likely - as then engine would start and then die in a few seconds.
