In France, just starting a fortnights break in Normandy. The Engine Management light has been on for weeks, no change to driving and VW said they can’t book it in for weeks so I assume that’s OK. However, the Airbag Error light and message just came on today as we drove through Arromanches. Should I be be more worried about this and try to get VW Assistance called out to check it. The van is a 1 year old T6.1 fully converted to a camper by Autohaus. Still therefore in warranty and assistance cover.

If it was me I’d get VW assist out for the airbag fault. It’s a critical safety system.
