Water dripping from... what is this?

I have water dripping from this "orifice" in the engine bay: what is it and is it supposed to drip?
T6 Highline, air-con was turned off at the time.

It’s the aircon drain.

I think the aircon still runs if the heater is on window screen

AC evaporator drain.

That's normal.

Interestingly the heating/ventilation was directed towards the windscreen, but as the A/C indicator LED was off, I thought the A/C was actually off.

Was just about to ask the same question. So thanks for putting my mind at ease. Never noticed it before
