Hi all just purchased a 2019 transporter self made camper with a West Falia tow bar fitted. It seems to have a very basic switch in the cupboard 1 live wire in and out from secondary fuse box under the sink.
Firstlt this needs to be switched on, and then the tow bar lights only work when sat in the seat and then you get the beep. If you even gently lift off the seat the the towbar lights do not work?!?!
I used a multimeter on DC voltage across the seat frame and can see it has 0vdc when not in seat and 12v when sat in the seat?? I'm guessing for the airbag/seat belt sensor.
How ever no wiring I can find connected to the seat which is more baffling.
Is there a switch under seat base frame/which wire do I need to move and where to fix this?
