What’s my Kombi worth?

Hi all.

Would love to hear from the community what you think it’s worth? Difficult time to sell I guess but here’s the spec:

- 2017 SWB Kombi DSG 4motion
- Grey
- 35k miles
- Twin electric sliding doors
- latching tailgate
- LED front and rear
- 20” wheels
- Sportline front bumper

Difficult to tell in current climate have seen some wild pricing out there. And Parker’s says 17k lol.
Might be an idea to tell people what you want/need

Once the market has recovered that’s a good £20-25k van. 4motions are just in market of their one

Yup, That’s why I said a good 20-25k. Is there VAT. I’ve got an all option ticked lwb 2017 DSG 204 with leather, sounddeadening , carpeting etc up at £29k+vat for reference.

Thanks. Have seen so many over £30K guess gotta be realistic although was hoping for more than £20-£25k
Sold my 2017 204 4Motion DSG with 41k on the clock to a dealer 3 weeks ago and got 22 plus vat. Although lower than I had hoped I only paid 27 for it with no LEDs.
So a loss of £5k almost 3 years later with 41k on the clock was a good deal for me.

That’s a crazy low price! Where was that? Same van 204 DSG 4Motion?!

The same van, it was a trade buying site. This virus has hit prices hard across all platforms that I look at. If you want to be shocked, put the details in webuyanycar and see how much they want to pull your pants down.

Anyone would be mad to sell at present unless privately, dealer dont wont stock.

BCA have told Webuyanycar they wont sell any vehicles for them presently so WBAC have set their systems up to low bid on everything and buy nothing

It will all recover when we get through this virus

You have mentioned it but biggest thing for me is speed limit. I drive a normal van for business every day nearly and 50mph single 60mph dual gets tiresome! Motor caravan gets you sensible car limits, so much better particularly when doing big trips 1000miles plus.

Until the lockdown I had planned to have most of my trips in Europe!
The speed limit doesn't bother me [yet], most long trips will be on motorways and that's the same for cars.

Just be very careful on what you think are motorways as they aren’t always. Going from motorway to dual carriageway isn’t always that obvious particularly when you’re trying to get somewhere and concentrating on traffic and sat nav instructions/wife. Having car limits means you don’t have to think about it so much. (Disclaimer if you are a seasoned van driver ignore me I don’t mean to be patronising )

Still think the speed limit thing is daft though for vans. I run a Caddy for one of the lads that works for me that is just over 2ton fully loaded and has van limits. Yet could drive a fully loaded Range Rover at 3.5ton at car limits! I know which would stop first in an emergency situation!

If your van is under 7.5 tonnes then I’m sure normal speed limits apply.

I’m sorry that is incorrect, I have run many vans for years. As soon as it’s LGV on the log book other than a car derived van it’s:

Single 50mph
Dual 60mph
Motorway 70mph

Might save you a ticket one day!
