We buy any car are owned by the BCA group. So if they buy a car off you for 5k It'll run through auction at 7k and then retail on a forecourt for 9-10k.
Cinch is also owned by BCA so now they can retail the better cars from we buy any car for even more profit without the need to send them to their auction!
They were promptly told to ram it! Not desperate to sell, just an avenue i was considering

Sounds like you no what it's worth then? I see these pots all the time on facebook, if you know the price you want for it then why not just put it up for sale at that price?
To be fair WBAC offer CAP average for vehicles less any preparation. It’s actually quite an accurate guide for a vehicles trade in worth, which to be fair is off from the retail price, but the Margin is there to make money. It’s a tough one for sure as it doesn’t include the options etc and retro fitted items, but it’s your choice to sell it privately or trade in.
We struggle with inflated prices from customer who see them advertised on line and think that’s the worth of their vehicle, but dealers have preparation and warranty costs etc before they hit the forecourt.
We will alway buy decent stock at the right price, and clearly we want to buy as cheaply as possible and as a seller, they want as much as possible.

Nobody forces people to sell to the ‘pirates’ it’s only personal situation / desperation.

Not been on for awhile hope everyone is doing ok?
So thinking about selling my van. Took a pay cut so van is really eating into my reduced wage..so I've desided im gonna shift it..but I need abit of guidence. Should i sign up to VIP membership and sell it on there or go online to Motorway.co.uk..or somewhere like that?
Are many vans bought and sold on here? My dealership i bought it from gave me a number..but i look online and my van is obviously selling for more. I know how it all works but just need a point in right direction.
