What’s this on my sliding door card?

Can anyone tell me what the white disk thing is.... I was about to take the door card off and I noticed that there's a thin wire attached to it...

my shuttle has a cover there on the door panel for access for something, not sure what though.

Yep.... the small white circle... there a very thin wire attached to it... I'll take some more pic and post them up tomorrow

Can you trace where the wires go to?

Just to clarify the two bolts below are normal, these are bolts for the sliding door 'runner' that moves the door up and down the side track but the circle, thats a mystery !!

Very thin braided wire the appears to drop down from the upper frame of the door
