What is my campervan worth?

Hi everyone,

Unfortunately the time has come to sell our much loved camper which was converted by myself in 2021 - a growing family is forcing the sale.

I'm not in a major rush just yet and I was wondering whether it would be worth waiting until after the winter when the market is more buoyant or is it not as seasonal as I think?

Im also unsure what the van is truly worth, I know what I have put in to it and I can see what Auto trader is asking but the prices seem crazy to me.

Do you think an asking price of £40k is realistic?

I've listed out the spec below, I did try to use good quality parts which hopefully shows:

2021 T28 110PS Startline + Business Pack Camper
Tailgate version
Ascot Grey
Body coloured bumpers and wing mirrors
AC
Cruise control
App Connect
Tow Trust detachable tow bar
Factory fitted swivel chairs

One owner
19k miles from new and FSH
Ghost immobiliser
Reverse camera (retrofit)

Austops Scenic Canvas with deluxe bed
RIB Altair 112cm
Van shades on all rear windows
Planar diesel heater
External BBQ point
150W Solar Panel and factory fitted AGM battery
Mini Oven
Thule 2.6m wind out awning
Thule Wanderway bike rack
Vango Driveway Awning
Maxxis all terrain tyres
Vanstyle side bars
Domestic CRX50 fridge freezer
Redarc DC-DC & Solar controller
Sargent PMS
Kitline Design kitchen units
Victron Blue smart battery charger

Also comes with Thule storage box on tilting base to allow tailgate to open (made by myself from a bike carrier)

Thanks in advance for any help.

David

Ask for £44k and settle at £40k - nice conversion
I agree. Our 2019 150ps with similar mileage and conversion went for about that - well known converters + ACC rather than CC. I think some people are very optimistic about prices! From the photos looks very clean and well maintained - awning is a plus as is tow bar, although I would stress the latter used only for the box rather than towing ( assuming that is true!)

Thank you for the guidance, was yours sold recently? If you don't mind me asking what platform did you use to sell?
Good shout on clarifying the tow bar use, the van has never towed and only used for the back box!

I've run the numbers on this and your van is worth exactly £3.5k. However, being a generous sort, I'll take it off your hands for £5k and seal the deal by throwing in a sweet Sony MiniDisc player that hasn't had much use of late. Delivery only please, I don't want to be messing around with taxis.

Very tempting but it's early days so I'll see how things go and keep you in mind

@Sackmycook - someone is taking a tilt at your price-gouging crown!!!

Lovely van and 2 years ago, I think £40,000 would have been easily achievable. Prices are keener now, with more covid times vehicles coming onto the market. For a startline, it's very smart in appearance but, unless it has a mfsw, it might limit your market a little with the more discerning buyer.
I would put it up for £39500 and take £36000
