What is this plastic piece on the rear quarter? No visible holes or the like?

No idea what the purpose of this is?
Anyone have similar or know what this is meant for?

Thanks for the prompt response. So this is on the passenger side (Australia RHD) and I've got a driver sliding door and doesn't appear to have the same on the opposite side. Weird hey.

Edit: Actually I have rear air-conditioning so maybe it's built into that trim or something.

Well that's what they cover on mine! Take a PH2 to it and have a gander what's behind it!

Yes it defo the motor cover for the electric doors. The rear heater unit covers it on the other side.
