Maybe not unless you can positively identify it as for the heat flap. Its possible the flap is just sticking. Maybe do output test on flap to see if it is trying to respond to commands. Throughout the year, even on my Audis I`ve had, I take the heater off auto and operate all directional vents for a while `to keep them free` as I`m guessing Auto position may not let all the vents work through their full range all the time.
