What level of insulation / sound deadening does a T6 factory Kombi have?

Hey...

I was just wondering if a T6 Factory Kombi would have any additional insulation or sound deadening beyond the carpeted panels in the back? Mine is a Highline spec.

I did the whole Silent Coat / silver bubble wrap / sheep's wool thing in my T5 and wondering what will need doing in my T6.

Hi Dunc and welcome, have a go at the search function for deadening and insulation as there are some really useful threads on it should find what your looking for.

In short, from factory a kombi has minimal sound deadening and insulation. There is also no such thing as carpet lining from factory, that will be an aftermarket addition so if you bought the van with carpet lined panels then there may already be some insulation etc behind done by the previous owner.
