What to buy T6 150 vs T6.1 110

Hi, I’m looking for some advice for what transporter to buy.
I’m currently looking at 2 T28 transporters, 2019 T6 150bhp 6 speed and a 2021 T6.1 110bhp 5 speed. Both have full service history, the T6 has 10,000 more miles on it and the price difference is negligible.
I’m not looking to do a full camper conversion, more of a day van setup.
I do have to join a very busy duel carriage way a few times a week so my concern with the 110 is will it have enough power for that or is the 150 the better option even with it being older?
Thanks

My 110 no ball of lightning (but then none of the diesel options are) and it's more than adequate for motorways, dual carriageway, and the like. You need to actually drive a few.

I certainly wouldn't choose based on having to join a fast-moving road. As above, test drive vans with each of the engine/gearbox options - none of them are rocketships.

Perhaps you would need to try both of them and make a decision based on e.g. condition.
Personally I'd prefer 150bhp+6 speed (assuming both of them are in identical condition of course), as it seems to be (from MY perspective) good compromise between 204bhp and 110bhp. However please don't get me wrong - I'm not saying 110+5 is bad or so. It depends on what you really need.
Saw few not too old transporters (even 4-5 years old) - quite new and .... quite corroded :( (e.g. rear wheel arch from the inside, around SLD underneath seals/gasket, etc, etc). It's fine if you are ok with it.
Driving diesels long time and what observe many times? Pedal to the metal and then engine stop because of red light - it's extremely harmful for turbo charger. As you can guess is not a cheap part.
You said you have service history - see oil service intervals. I know manufacturers say "15-20k" or so, but in my PERSONAL opinion 10k km is max.
T28 - are you looking for T28 or just found T28? Did you consider e.g. T30 (200kg more load) or so?

Driving other car with very similar engine - 150bhp / 340Nm / 6 speed. What I can see, my transporter (150) is (what absolutely not surprising me at all) significantly less dynamic. I can just guess 110 can be even less (can someone correct me if I'm wrong as of course gearbox is different as well), and had no occasion to drive 110 (just T4 with approx 100bhp)....

Anyway, I'd try both of them and focus on what is important for you.

However please bear in mind there are your money and your decision.... consequences are your as well ;)
