I might be being a bit harsh but I recently sold a set of 18" winter wheels on fleabay for next to nothing clearly marked as collection only.
The purchaser bless him is about 300 miles away!
I've told him I'm not prepared to package them - the reason I marked them collection only. He's now struggling to find anyone to ship them "as is".
Does anyone know any suitable transport?
Thanks

Paisley Freight are good for wheels but I think you will struggle to send them as is. If I remember the last time i sent wheels with them i had to wrap them individually, with just carboard on the faces.

Direct Courier Solutions offer a "VIP" service which involved one courier taking them from A to B so they don't need to be packaged. Might be too dear for cheap winter wheels though. I think I paid around £120.

I've used UPS to ship wheels 'as is' (18s with tyres) - they were all packaged individually and part of the same consignment, as they were within the volume (& weight) limit for packages. Cost about £115 IIRC.

If he doesn't want to collect them as your add stated (therefore in the contract of sale) sell them to someone else. It's not like he didn't know how far away you were before submitting his bid.
