Where do you get your Pressed-Metal Numberplates from?

Anyone got any logo's or anything that look half decent on their plates ?

They didn't ask for proof, neither did the website.

I was waiting for them to ask then the plates arrived

Many of these sellers will sell the plate under "road legal show plates" and can avoid requesting proof of vehicle ownership.

Where do all recommend from pressed metal number plates?

Got a set years ago from Dubmeister, starting to look a bit tired at the front, so looking at replacements.
Seen sets on ebay for like £20, anyone recommend any on there? or elsewhere?

My local garage told me recently pressed metal plates will be an MOT failure, something to do with the reflectability v acrylic ones.

Garage wanting to charge you for new plates? lol

I've been told about this apparently before too, but I've had these plates on cars and vans and never had issues. My van just went through its first MOT at VW two days ago and no mention of a issue

Not charging no, the car was in for something else. They were just giving me a heads up for an mot a few months later. They're a good local garage, very fair on pricing too.
