Which kombi seats fold forward?

Iv got a t6 swb pv and i want to make it into a kombi. I want to keep as much space as possible without taking the seats out everytime.

i know my options are the 3x singles, the 2+1 and the 3seater bench.

has anyone got any pics of them folded forwards and what sort of room do they take up.

Not got any pictures or measurements but all 3 options you mention take up the same amount of space both folded and in use, the only difference is how versatile the different arrangements are. It's a big jump in price but a caravelle set up will give you the most options space wise.

I have thought about that but i dont really want to spend that much on caravelles.

i know all 3 seats fold flat, but do any actually tip and fold forward towards the front seats?

Yes, probably give you an extra 200-300mm extra length at floor level. How many more seats do you need?

Buy some, fit them and if they don't work out take them out and sell them, if you're doing the fitting yourself I doubt you'd be out of pocket?

I fold my ones flat. But I have tilted them up from that position? I didn't think you could?

It’s worth pointing out that it’s only T6 seats that fold and tip, T5 seats only tip but don’t have the fold feature

I have t6 seats?
I need to figure out how to fold them.now then.

I have 2+1 in my factory kombi and mine will fold down flat but they don’t tip forward.

You pull them to lift the seats out.

Just looked on YouTube and it would apear you're correct sir, I've got the 3 seat bench which will tip forwards on some gas struts after being folded, always assumed the other seats would do the same. Every day's a school day!

That's the extra room with the bench tipped forwards, it's hard up against the bulkhead when folded down.

I have the 2+1 rear seat in my Kombi. They all fold flat but only the single has a lever to tip it forward. Is there a way to tip the double seat forward as well? This would make it easier to put the bikes straight in rather than at an angle.

Pull the strap and bungee to front headrests, works fine

Thanks for the reply. Do you just pull 1 strap to tip it or 2. Wasn’t sure if pulling 2 straps would actually disconnect the seats from the van.

From memory one per leg, the front legs have hooks so it's not going to fall out or anything
