So, in case someone wonders, I think I got why the Kenwood DNR (I think it might be the whole series) doesn't connect to MFS and the parking sensors.
Probably didn't look far enough in the first place, and back in the days when I visited a shop here in the city I shouldn't have gotten a radio there, and should have ordered something via this forum ;-)
Check the back of your radio, if it doesn't have the UART connector, it's not going to work (the round one with 6 pins, makes for a direct link with DNR etc.), so don't look any further.
