As the title, had a little play around on the VW configure and also threw a PDF brochure and you can’t seem to get a t30 DSG 4 motion Kombi .

Why is this , this will be my disabled daughters form of travel with our dogs and whole family I feel there is no need to go to a t32 .

The van would carry quad and gear (500kg) and tow double jet ski trailer (1100 kg ) or slightly less , working it’s hardest so I’d thought a t30 would suit my needs better, any penny’s saved help towards extras fitted

I can only guess that with these add ons to base van: +Diesel engine with all its DPF's,EGR's, ADD Blue+LWB+DSG+KOMBI+4Mo.+Extras+Passengers+Load+Towed weight(and nose weight)+fluids+tools and ancillaries your always carry; VW feel the vehicle is rapidly running out of load capacity. It is amazing how quickly all these things add up, then all of a sudden the rear axel (or whole vehicle) is overloaded. In my experience, VW are probably advising you well towards a T32.

It’s weird that you can get a t30 swb 4motion dsg but not lwb,

I need as much interior space as possible not fussed with extra headroom as that will restrict my access to multi story car parks and those height restricted outdoor car parks they have at beaches and country parks

I guess the extra weight of the LWB just throws it over the limits in VW's mind. Plus extra space=extra load. I think there's a law about finding stuff to put in the available space;)
Have you had a VW van before?

No this will be my first , was convinced by a good freind in a t5 , been driving a Renault Trafic for the last 5 years and changing around summer next year using it as a trade in or sell private and add a bit of cash as well ,

Will be on HP finance or PCP with about £10,000 ( trade in / cash ) coming out of my pocket , a good plus is I will be VAT exempt because of my disabled daughters form of transport

Makes sense

The configurator is often wrong, get a dealer to look it up on their ordering system it may be available you never know ?

Thanks

Will check it out when I start going round dealers sorting out deals , just doing my research and reading the back log of threads to get a idea of what options I want / need

Good advice, if you sit with the dealer and actually build the van on his system, it can throw up different options/configs compared to the customer info

They are great vans, you'll love it.
When you have got your build sorted out, you can always post it up on here, and people will give you advice and thoughts etc before you sign on the doted line. You will also get a view on discounts available (some around 12% of total cost in extras, some can get slightly more)
Which colour are you thing of?

Colours I’m down to are the candy white , cherry red

And iridiu grey and oryx white

Leaning more to towards the whites as I’d like to add red or lime green to contrast a little against main body colour , like a little in the front grill like the ABT grill , half of the rear view mirrors and rear roof spoiler, and maybe in the stitching on a leather interior
