Wild van spots in Lake District

Hi Everyone

I'm after some suggestions for a couple of nights around the Lake District and after great spots for sunset or sunrise. Will be doing scarfell pike so any near there also I'm all ears

Park 4 night & search for sites are your friends. Wild camping is difficult in the Lake District where it’s actively discouraged. There used to be a spot up Langdale that was a NT car park where you could stay overnight, but that’s been stopped due to abuse. Your best bet is a pub stop or small farm site.

Aira force last year was a tenner …. A few pull ins along Ullswater too

Stop late and leave early, don’t make a noise, that way the choice is greatly increased.

There’s a couple of great stops on the struggle out of Ambleside nearer the top for great views
