Window Seal Gaps

I noticed recently that the seal near the window isn't.. sealing.
It appears to have been mentioned in this thread too Audio Upgrade Stage-1 . . . . Blam Relax 200rs Speakers From Skipton.
I assume water ingress will drain from the bottom
Should I be worried?

Yes you should be concerned, you are correct the water will go down the inside of the door and should drain out the bottom but would you want water inside the door ? I don’t

This theory works fine until you either a) Park the vehicle on a slant so it drips water onto back of door card then out onto step or b) install deeper speakers that catch this falling water and give it a route to the door card and then out onto step

so is this a warranty issue? or do I need to start stripping the door

spoke to my local dealer in Portsmouth, dismissed it as not a problem.

maybe installing deflectors might help
for these "not a problem" and cheap to fix (hopefully) i am sure you can find a local mechanic.
out of warranty repair, but at least you get it done without too much argueing...
