Windscreen replacement - 2 types ?

I am having bit of an issue with a windscreen company trying to replace the windscreen on my T6. I won't bore you with their incompetence, but it has come to light that there appear to be 2 versions of the windscreen, and the only difference is a trim piece around the top and sides of the screen, which is bonded on at the windscreen factory.

My current van has this trim, which tidies up the edge of the screen nicely. If they fitted the screen without this trim, then I would have more obvious paintwork channels around the edge.

Anyone else come across this ?
