Wing Mirror Bent Back

I’ve bent my wing mirror backwards on the gate at work while reversing, see picture.

It no longer folds up but the other internal electrics work fine. After being quoted £675 or something for a new one I’m just seeing if it can be replaced in another way. I wondered if I could by an empty shell mirror and transfer the electrics over or if there’s any other ideas. Maybe even the mounting could be fixed and bent back.

Cheers
James

The mounting/swivel is the core of the mirror and to replace it means buying a complete new unit minus the aerials and the plastic trims

Send me your vin and i will fetch the options/prices for you

VIN received via pm

Part 1 is the main mirror part and includes parts 3/4/6/8/9/11
As long as your glass and painted rear housing has survived then that all you need and the mirror, cap and aerial can be swapped over to tue new unit

Listed price is £262 + vat for the main unit

I have the same problem with the left mirror from reversing into a pole.
I have a 2022 multivan in Australia NSW. The plastic housing and mirror is fine. The electrics still move the mirror! But the arm is bent. I assume it is very similar to the above situation. There are some options on line but I am a bit confused. Can you help source the correct parts? Unfortunately I can't read the helpful screen grab above.
Thanks.

Oh I managed to read that screen grab and it was correct. Sydney wide european wreckers and the local dealer confirmed the part number. There is little price advantage with a second hand part. I am going to get the local dealer to do the job.
