Winter camping/campervan events?

I'd be interested in that as well. I'll be camping on a couple glaciers again this ski season

Hi all!

My partner and I loved winter camping in tents etc. before getting the camper. Are there any winter camping events/festivals in the UK?

Cheers :)

Rob
Don’t know of any specific winter festivals, but we’ve done new year in the van at Aviemore, weekend at Tan Hill, and plenty of skiing in the Alps. Great experience and fun if you’re prepared & setup properly.

I’m intending to do Tan Hill in November with the mutt. Off to Hintertux in the 8Th Nov. Just hope my fancy T6.1 MoHo is ready if not it’s the old T6

We are up at Glenmore campsite for a few days over New year, not quite a festival but we ended up in Glenmore lodge bar last year
Oh, when we booked the site, the electric hook ups were all booked up, so your need good battery power

Dont know about 'events' but theres plenty of sites have Christmas 'do's' .
We'll be in spain for our annual 90 day tour to try and escape the cold .
Problem is that winter in the uk is longer than 90 days so we still have to come back to the cold .
