Wiring of Kenwood Radio into T6 Startline - Help needed

Hi guys,

I have a bit of a conundrum and I am hoping those in the know can help or offer some guidance. I have purchased the following items, in essence everything I have been told I will need to connect the Kenwood radio to my T6.

1. Kenwood DMX9720 XDS
2. Connects2 CT27AA111 - Male Fakra to SMB Female Antenna Adaptor
3. Connects2 CT27AA87 - Universal Twin Fakra to DIN Antenna Adaptor
4. VW Transporter T6 Single / Double Din Car Stereo Fascia Steering Control Antenna Fitting kit

The problem I have is when I connect everything up, the radio does not turn on. Upon further investigation it seems the factory plug pins dont quite align with the adapter harness pins.

Has anyone encountered this before? I've tried to search the forum but having no luck in finding a thread with a problem similar to this.

You might need to provide some images of the connectors and harnesses.
From the description, it sounds like you have the wrong harness adapter

If you have factory parking sensors then you need the genuine Kenwood to t6 interface, this makes it plug and play

We stock them as use them all the time

And a usb retention kit if you like to use the dash usb slot
