Yellow Reversing sensors

So specific question i suppose

i have an ex AA van in their beautiful yellow

the missus has no decided that the reversing camera is not enough she also wants noise!

so question,

anyone with a yellow van fitted aftermarket yellow sensors? if so how close were the shades?

were they noticable or did they match well?

am i better off with just going for black?

Can you not just have them painted to the correct RAL (once you’ve bought some)

now i was thinking of this but wouldnt that interfear block the sensor?

Nope. I had a replacement sensor done on X-trail. Think from memory nissan charged £80 from their paintshop to do. Daylight robbery! That said.... Always wondered if a 'special paint'

Its normal paint, i have done them with a rattle can before and you couldnt really tell the difference !
Just remember they need a clear coat also so you need two cans but think its only around £20-30 and will be very close colour match

was worried that painting them would interfere but great news thats what ill do

Try and get them in white as the yellow has poor opacity and would struggle to cover dark colours. Our use a white primer.
