Yippee Monty is home

Was really worried about driving him, because I am vertically challenged (basically a short a*se). Only thing I need to remember is be careful getting out so I don't land in a heap or break my ankles

Ordered wind deflectors today, and I am also thinking about ordering the mega van mat set. Need a windscreen cover for frost too (maybe with a set of step ladders so I can put it on).

Nice and cool in the summer sun being white. How do you tell its a boy? I hope you enjoy your camper.

All my vehicles have been boys but maybe I should be careful with my pro nouns nowadays. Anyway it's name is Monty

Monty looks great,
Welcome to the club.

I’m sure I seen a windscreen cover in the for Sale section.
Worth having a nosy.
Here it is

Sorry, it made me chuckle, I live 8 miles from Shrewsbury and had to go there yesterday, like you.
I took my shiny clean van, but got back home later and it was this;

Planting trees with your van again Dave ?
No, it's hedge cutting season after the maize silage, these big tractor tyres sure are great at floating over the soft ground but they're also good at bringing a ton of mud out onto the road either side of my house. Fair play, they try to clear up the worst of it, like lumps bigger than a football! :rolleyes:
I don't worry, I've done my fair share. Omelettes and Eggs!

A life time ago, I met my wife at the Orthopaedic Hospital Oswestry. Lived there for a while commuting 50mls to work and back each day . Half a life time later living a long way from there was involved with the Staffs and Shropshire Landrover Club, did some off road driving and trialling at Medlicott had an absolutely fantastic time . Even did some study at Shrewsbury tech. It a lovely part of the world with very friendly people.
