Hi, I recieve a lot of queries regarding the T5.1 and the digidash readiness.. Well it's here now and ready for orders on the following link: VW T5.1 (2010-2015) Digital Dashboard Upgrade

I am on hand to answer any questions you might have or support with a full fitting service if required. Please visit the site for full details.

I have fitted for a number of T6 members already and got some really positive feedback, we have done startline and highline, and a number of other vehicles in the VW family, Scirocco, Tiguan, Toureg, Golf, and an Amarok coming up soon!

Thanks, and look forward to hearing from you!

UPDATE: we are able to fit and support 5.1 without MFSW. Adding products to the site now!
First non-mfsw fitting T5.1 will be next week. I will do some tests and create some content. The remote controller supplied is paired directly to a secured module on the main board. I will be checking, but thoughts are: this remote control method WILL NOT send 'emulated' mfsw controls anywhere else, they will just be localised within the virtual unit. Which is good for a few reasons, but really opens a lot of doors for some lovely T5's that don't want to go down the BCM MFSW route just to get this great upgrade.

It got me to thinking can I control the current unit using a USB mouse or KB input, or a Bluetooth keyboard, but I haven't found anything that would work yet. Just interested to see whether they left ports active since there is some Linux back there. Not tried the same with engineer mode activated yet, but will give that a go too at some point. Anyway this remote control method is neat, set and forget for most this unit. In some ways it secures the settings from fiddling fingers.. our own included sometimes haha..

I also got an update on the T5 and they are aiming for a Feb release.. T5 has double ATA connectors to the original board, so it's slightly more challenging than simply fitment.

Hi all, just wanted to say hi as a new member, thanks pauly and the other guys who have liked my introduction post. I own a 2018 mk 4 caddy highline and a 2004 vw t5 1.9. I would love a caddy style mfsw fitting to the t5.
And then if possible cruise installed once I have the correct bcm .
Also a colour mfd screen also fitted to the cluster,
I'm trying to replicate interiors , ha ha.
Then if all this is possible or not, i know That digital clocks are out there for a t5.1,hopefully a t5 is available if the immobiliser issues is sorted???
If possible always a t6 .1dash fitting, with or without electrics.

I know all of this can be done, it's just finding the right people or answers since vw base closed down. No help from facebook, they only code t5.1 or don't reply or say it can't be done. Any help, contacts ,advice, or help would be appreciated, thank you.

I can do the Caddy digidash whenever you are ready. The T5 will be ready around Febuary time. We have a fitting option with integrated remote that means you can have the digital cockpit prior to having any mfsw fitted. Ping me a message or give me a call when you want to talk more about options. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply, I only want the work doing on the t5 but as I said cannot find any help with installation , thanks andy.

Interesting... let’s hope it’s better than the old Android stereos! I’ll always keep my old instruments in the van, just in case—because if you get stuck, you’re really stuck!
