Gear Gaitor Help!

Hi All,

I'm in the process of having my seats retrimmed to match the rnr bed. I've bought bits like new mats and a new suede gear gator with matching stitch to my seats.

Question is, how do I remove the old leather gaitor from the actual gear knob?

I've had it out the van, bit the collar don't seem to budge?

turn gear stick gaiter inside out. Remove middle ring.
Lift and push away from gaiter.
Remove plastic clamp thing.

Gaiter can be removed.
