Had a quick search but couldn't find anything that suits my requirements.
There's a local company to me that offer this service and I'm awaiting a response.
I've enquired about getting the door cards done and the A pillars/grab handles.
Has anyone had HD done before on a larger scale?
How durable is it?
Their work has a lacquer applied after the dip so I'm guessing that it gives it a bit more protection.
Cheers in advance.

I've been looking in to this as well as there's a company local to me as well. Thinking of front grills done. Looked through their website and they have done the black plastics on a 6.1 front end and mirror caps in carbon. Looks great so I'm popping down to see them on my next day off which is Tuesday. See they've done wheels as well so guessing it's durable. Will keep you informed.

Hi, my first post on the forum so i hope i can attach the pic.

About 24 years ago i had the dash of my new T4 dipped in "burl walnut".
They did the steering wheel centre, air vents / electric window control surrounds.
It held up fine for the 17 years i owned it, sorry not a great pic but only one i could find.

Looking like it might be a goer for the door cards then, not sure on how they will get in and around the door pockets.
Hopefully they'll give me a better idea over the weekend.
It's more the textured finish on the cards that will cause the biggest embuggerance.
