...wearing astro. My method will bury it for longer, but as for VCDS adaptions, I tried everything but just cannot get it to stick. Trouble is MFSW signal goes direct to BCM, BCM is where the menu is, BCM drives the cluster board, which just reads change.. it reads change and converts to a...

Hello! Yes i did.. Otherwise the steering wheel wouldn't work.. Everything works just the CC on the stalk doesn't work anymore and i get a ! mark on the MFD.. I've read on a different thread that if you want to have the CC on stalk working i have to use pin 17 instead of 36?
You should check the faults in vcds first...
Did you set these as per the guide on first page:
BCM 09:
Set Byte 09, Bit 3 Tells BCM a MFSW is installed
Set Byte 29, Bit 6 Tells the BCM to use pin 36 on T73b for MFSW LIN Bus
Hello guys! I have a 2019 euro6 T6 with CC on stalks from factory.. But i have a problem.. I have installed a MFSW, everything is working (horn, illumination, volume up and down ect) but i get a ! cruise control error showing up and check engine light.. I have the MFSW without CC/ACC and i'd...
I just installed this with a polo 2023 flat bottom steering wheel, it has acc buttons but can be used with normal ccs for my t6. the configuration tool had option for ACC and touch buttons so should work

...promptly.
It looks very nice and all the the buttons work including DSG paddles, but it would have been much easier to get a compatible MFSW with CCS.
For anyone attempting these, few pitfalls to note:
- The MFSW i purchased has a 6 way connector for the airbag loom, my original MFSW loom...
Michael Sims installed a MFSW for me yesterday. I had the basic Trendline rubber wheel and bought a replacement wheel off another forum member.
Would highly recommend him! Lovely chap (had a good natter), really knows his stuff and someone who really cared about doing quality work. Very fairly...
Hi guys I've bought a Chinese Bluetooth mfsw control, as a stop gap until I can get my mfsw fitted to a kenwood dmx5020s stereo.
My question is the Bluetooth unit comes on a android loom, I know if I cut the Bluetooth part off and wire it in it should work.
The cables are labeled...
Afternoon All,
I've got my eye on a new steering wheel, so if that goes ahead, mine will be for sale.
It is a standard MFSW off a 2016 T6, but will come as a bare unit (no buttons or airbag)
Back in May 2024, I had it professionally retrimmed in black nappa leather with light purple...
This button set up works on my 2015 T6 trendline. But, as you say there are sets around that come from the polo that light up white and they won’t work with a T6 (I had a set of them first off) and sold them on before finally finding the ones that light up red. As you say there’s usually a...
Thank you so much for your help! I have seen a thread where you explained it and were taling about pin 9, 10 and 11? Do i also need to wire pin 11 as i don't have CCS on my steering wheel? The wires you are talking about.. I believe are the repair wires? I have bought a set of wires as pictured...
...ended up buying a whole wheel to just rob the buttons for my custom flat bottom wheel.
I’m also pretty sure that if your van never came with a MFSW fitted as standard you would need to install a cable to power the MFSW. Usually taken from the light switch.
And another cable to the BCM under...
Appreciate all you guys help! I know there are a few guides on how to do it but they are all for people with steering wheels that want cruise control to work and i don't want/need that.. I just have the 'normal' buttons.. See pictures.. So i get confused with what wires i do or do not have to...
