I would make sure it aligned correctly on a hunter and run your pressures for 20” wheels between 36 - 40 when loaded. We see, driven normally, around 15K+ miles out of tyres.

Get a decent 4 wheel alignment done, ‘Hunter’ are one of the best, unless you are very low they should be able to get the rear within tolerance without adjustable bushes, it will be the best £80 you spend. Mine is -90mm and get 12K + out of tyres

Hi @Deaky, do you know the offset of the wheels by any chance? It’s a lovely stance on the wheels.

I would drop your pressures down to 36, which is what we recommend for normal use, and get a proper alignment done on Hunter with the correct settings to make sure you are properly aligned.

What did he adjust? Was the wheel out of centre exactly the same or improved? Is there any pulling forces while driving either braking or accelerating. Is there more effort required to steer in one direction than the other? Can you quantify how far is the wheel off centre?

The alignment was slightly out and so was adjusted to bring everything back into levels. I've also just been to another garage where they use a Hunter Machine, with the levels in the photo. The tech guy said all was good, test drove and could see for himself the steering was off. Adjusted again...

...(equal front and back again) as if they are overpressure but running at 37 all round. If the rears are wearing in the inside you should probably get a hunter alignment done but need to correct for the camber (this is probably why mine are wearing equally front and back even with alignment done)

Have you had yours hunter aligned? I've done 7k on my 100mm drop Solows and still going strong.
