...the coil light reappeared that evening.
I decided to upgrade my crappy OBD reader and bought a Carista. Plugged it in and pulled the code 15560 EGR Sensor "A" Circuit Range/Performance.
I reset this to test when it appears - every time stop/start kicks in, if stopped for more than around 45...
There is no flow sensor for EGR. Only intake air flow (MAF), the rest is calculated or looked up from map tables using airflow, temperatures, pressures, injection quantities, valve positions etc.
On a crafter but believe same set up at T6's with DAUA engine so posting here for better visibility.
I have a suspected EGR cooler or water-to-air intercooler failure as i'm losing coolant slowly. I just had the intercooler off to vacuum test the coolant side of it to rule that out as the issue...
Had this fault come up last month and checked out by AA vw specialist, it's ran ok for 850miles and now back up.... obviously have searched and understand it's insufficient flow but took a pic of the values on his test and wondered if the readings give any indication that a flush may help..? Or...
What's the forum consensus on this? Has it prevented/reduced EGR clogging for 6.1s or is it still too early to tell? I read through threads describing tales of EGR woes with a feeling of impending doom for my van, but I haven't really taken any notice of whether 6.1s are specifically amongst...

Now when I bought the van, I declined the...

Question is do I get genuine VW pipe or an eBay one which is £40 ?
In theory I...
It was on recommendation from the tuner, a very a reputable one. I went for a EGR delete, engine and DSG map.
But instead left with a start/stop, adblue and EGR delete and the dsg map. Left the engine map due to the uncertainty of my turbo.
I’m afraid I can’t give any more information than...
Yes, I’ve cleaned a 102 unit, cooler rammed solid with carbon and valve seized, same as 150ps
180ps EGR is a different problem again - internal corrosion.
204ps EGR seems to be a trend for coolant leakage.
