After much research and a few late nights on this great forum, I finally took the plunge.
I've moved on my Merc E class estate and picked up a 2018 grey T6 Kombi dsg swb 150 highline from Liverpool VW van centre. (Who were excellent)
I shall be using my van for my work in the carpet trade as I gradually wind down to retirement in the next few years and intend to gradually convert to a day van with perhaps a Van King bed.
I must say I'm enjoying the drive and the vehicle very much.

So thanks to all the folks who share info on this forum, it's all been very useful in making my decision.
All the best

Hi everyone, hoping to pick up some good info on T6’s here. I’m a garage owner and happy to help with MOT related queries.
I own a T5.1 with the CFCA motor, I really should know better

Definitely going to bypass the cooler, once I’ve found out why the cooling system is gassing up! There is a major leak of exhaust gases into the cooling system. The cooler is 3 years old and type D. I’m going to remove it and pressure test it. If it’s ok the head will come off for further inspection and pressure test. Fingers crossed it’s not terminal, since performance is good without any oil consumption. It it comes down to it I’d prefer to fit a brand new factory motor, if I can get one. TPS have no stock.

I did hear that tps were doing a good price on motors ...probably why they haven't got any stock  .
I've got a problem with ours getting too hot (caab) no loss of coolant and having the heater on full whack almost drags the temp back in ...until you hit a hill .
