Fixing solar panel cables to underside of Reimo roof

Sorry mate, I've moved the van on. I ran them on the underside of the roof fixing them with electrical cable tie mounts (on sikaflex- I removed the self adhesive tape) and cable ties and then ran them in the spare grommet on the right side of the shut line (I had rear doors). I had to drill...

    T6.1 Fusebox SC access?

I got the part number for the terminal from a previous post. I had no luck finding what the part numbers are for box type terminals. I've given up buying the wrong terminals now and just going down the piggyback route. Got it wired in today, cables routed and tidied up. Tested the looms and they...

    Help with Kenwood 8021DABS fitting

Ok, three questions from your photos 1. Where did you route the mic? 2. Do you have a MFSW as I don't have that cable that is next to MIC? 3. Where did you route the USB-C cable? In the below YouTube, the guy calls it the yellow "media cable" at 6.08

@Oceanis very tidy solution. Interested to see the parts list and that internal cable route through the pop top.

    Shunt/battery control module part-no

It does seem odd that it's always the LIN wire, you'd think it would be others with similar routing or from the same supply chain.

    Shunt/battery control module part-no

Poor routing and or both I guess. It seems I’m not the only one, and broken / worn wires are common on the T6 as they age. I’m not surprised to be honest, there are a lot of exposed wires and those that are in the conduits are routed in such a way they are pulled very tightly in many directors...

found the void near shelf, thanks for that info!! I have also received 2core cable as directed to. Can I ask though. Cable is mighty (appears reinforced around the two cables with wire. Will this work? Do I need a heavy duty wire stripping tool to cut this? Did I order the wrong wire for...

Cable routing from rear to front - Solar panel

Hello, I just installed the sonal panels in the roof and now I need to connect the cables to the leisure battery. However it is not clear how to run the cable from rear to the front. I have route the cables from the roof into the van like the following picture. So the cables are in the 'wheel...

    Hillside Birchover

One of my picture from the thread linked above shows the cable from where it comes inside the velcro, going through a hole into the void behind the rear central shelf (where I have the shading diode). From here it's is simply routed behind the cabinets to the void behind the panel in the wardrobe.

@Davenjo will hopefully be able to confirm, but after following the routing of the cable as per the link then yes I would say so.

Cables from engine to under seat- under gearstick

As above. Once you get the floor up you'll see the various cable routes and most of these will have room for another cable or two. Remember to protect the cables where they pass through the bulkhead.

Cables from engine to under seat- under gearstick

Yes, it's easy enough to route the cables on the floor when you get under the mat. There are some photos of the area on my camper build. Have fun :)

[Guide] Battery Maintainer (for Starter battery) -- How I Done It --

Dash cam - how does it work?

...That will give 12V positive feed supply. There should also be a (usually black) wire that goes to a ground (negative point) along the cable route. cable route is likely behind/under glove box and up the A pillar. My dash cam ground point is on a screw behind the side panel of the dash...

I did this yesterday, the fuse box inside the cab to the left of the gearstick / selector has a middle row of fuses that are all suitable. I think I used an empty one about three down from the top. In terms of routing if you take the rubber mat up you'll see other cables that are run in floor...
