if water pump is leaking it needs doing ASAP, this will involve the CAMBELT + rollers being changed at same time.
steering rack - never heard of wear that low in mileage before, or burnt oil - only oil leaks - second...

Just back home after a 6hr 275m drive from the Lizard in South west Cornwall.
Van behaved beautifully throughout after a cambelt/waterpump change and new front brake discs & pads the week before we left.

My 2.0tdi suffered EGR failure at about 130k, bill was £1500 inc a cambelt and waterpump. Worthwhile I’d say, especially as the things get a little older.
So after going to a crafter for my camper build. That’s now completed and funds returning so we just dived back into a T6 for a work vehicle to replace the caddy.

VW Vans Chelmsford just quoted me £789 for cambelt and waterpump.
Got a price from my local VW specialist, using OEM parts, inc belt, pump and aux belt for £550.
Should be booked in at start of June :thumbsup:
