Teflon coated pans, kitchen paper and to reduce water consumption off grid I use a spray bottle with a washing up / water mix. Most water is consumed getting the excessive amounts of washing up liquid off the plates etc.
Just a quickie update.
Took van into main dealers and got it back the same day with a new coolant valve and washed bodywork.
Hopefully, that is that and hopefully you get the same result.
Hi there guys I have a few sets of vw steelie centres in very good condition, they’re suitable for 16 / 17 / 18 inch steels. Looking for £25 posted for a set. They have been washed and dried too. ( wife will be pleased)
Use Biological washing liquid, much better smelling, no stains and a lot cheaper. Must be biological as that is what breaks down the nasties. Also leaves the container cleaner.
Top tip: the brickwork watershield from Screwfix or Toolstation is the same makeup as the stuff from a camping shop! Oh, except it is way, way cheaper! So, if you’re reroofing your bellows or tent, go save yourself a fortune!!!
No doubt something is touching.
Whilst washing mine yesterday (which is a LWB), I could feel a very slight “hump” where the aerial would be underneath so hoping I don’t have any issues in the future like you.
Good luck with All Seasons and let us know how you get on.
When did the phrase 'washing the car' change to 'detailing'....? I can only guess when we stopped using rough dog eared sponges, a splash of Fairy Liquid in an old crusty builders bucket was the turning point? But still, it still grates with the over use of 'detailing' when all is being done to...
I'll write a little reportette in a couple of weeks, it will be nice to be able to wash the various bits of this easily rather than the massive plates on the biggun.
Wifey is happy!
I’ve got some stuff to clean and reproof the canvas and the lid needs another going over as it’s starting to look streaky. Definitely be doing this next weekend and not walking to a pub! Unless of course the weather is not suitable
