You only have a 70ah leisure battery, which is about as small as they get. A 100w panel will generate a peak charging current somewhere around 7-8 amps which is about right for charging that capacity battery (0.1C)
I don’t know my battery type I know the solar panel was 100w and it’s a rigid type not flexi ?
Does this picture help? Having spend £1k on the installation I like to know if we are actually getting some benefit ?
The 12v socket is for 100w max.
Below 80w ideally.
For 200w you need to connect direct to the leisure battery with a fuse.
.....
What size fuse was it that burned out?
Which 12v socket?
Post some pics
It's possible that the cable may have burned or melted if wrong size fuse was fitted?
@whodat I have a 50w one of these BlueFusion Portable Folding Solar Panel 50W/100W/120W for Outdoors not lithium capable.
For keeping the starter battery topped up and can say yes it keeps a starter battery topped up wouldnt know if it would charge a power station quick enough.
It's behind the...
That battery is perfectly matched for a 1000w inverter.
How long it lasts will depend on whats plugged in.
Quick maths.
1000w 1hr
100w 10hr
10w 100hr
I also run the 1000w Renogy on a 230ah Fogstar.
I will be upgrading my flexi 100w panel to 360w rigid soon. So it lasts the life of the van.
If I were you and had to go through the hassle of replacing the panel anyway I would use this opportunity to do a proper upgrade.
360w panel is £166
You would need to get a bigger MPPT also but so...
Two seatbase batteries?!?, bloody hellfire you're going to end up with more lithium on board than an ID Buzz at this rate...
Good plan topping up the EcoFlow, though in my book I'd never describe 100w as "trickle charge" :p
Renogy Suitcase panel arrived from Amazon yesterday.... Hooked up to the EcoFlow Delta 2 this morning and a max of 105w input recorded from 100w panel combo. Well pleased as this is a first venture into portable solar.
Looks like panel has failed.
Micro cracks on the busbars.
Sun heats up panel causing thermal expansion.
Got a mobile panel to test?
Or connect a small battery to the PV input to see if you get a response from the controller .
Ie
100w Renogy portable suitcase panel.?
...variety. (Probably fixed in fairness)
My question is, what do I need to connect the solar panel (thinking of something like this:- EcoFlow 100W Flexible Solar Panel - EcoFlow UK) to my Delta Mini that will enable me to retain my 12v ignition live charging ability.
Coz as we all know the UK...
Ended up going for a reasonable offer on the older rigid 100w Renogy folding panels.
Now to look for some decent MC4 extensions and maybe consider a little Victron MPPT to experiment on the shed.

Took delivery of an Allpowers R600 power bank and Allpowers 100w folding Solar panel.
Top tip ….. ordered this from AliExpress Allpowers Official , however the goods were sent from their UK warehouse at no additional taxes etc. So the above was significantly cheaper than purchasing from the...
Each boil of the kettle 7ah, running the fridge (estimate 45ah per 24hrs), cooking each meal on average takes 45ah.
Then there’s the Diesel heater. Reckon I’m going to need the biggest panel I can possibly get on the pop top, when it comes to it!!
The 200W might be enough just to slow the...
I’d get a victron solid panel and leave stuff like the dokio well alone … they are a nice idea but I’ve had enough of the fact that they just degrade too quickly .. the portability is a huge plus but I’ve had three on them now and everyone has had issues .
I have a Dokio 100w solar panel which I've been using with a smaller power pack until recently when I acquired an Allpowers pack in the photo when built in MPPT. However even in strong midday sun and aligning the panel, I'm only getting 30w max. What's the likely problem here?
...also be listing later tonight:
2 x Victron Orion smart 12v 30a dc-dc chargers
1 x Victron 12v 30a mains charger (used 2 or 3 times only)
1 x NDS 100w light solar panel with rear cable entry. (Only taken out of box for pictures)
This is all top quality kit and I’m willing to do a deal on the...
