I dont see why having just a bar or just electrics is a fail! Some of these clip on bike racks (mainly on cars) should have a trailer board to be safe!

Well interestingly you can actually get 4 full size bikes on the boot rack! This is 3 x 27.5 and a 24, but actually would have been easier if the 24 had been full size. They need to be spread wide so the forks don’t clash with the rear triangle/caliper of the neighboring bike

Hello - can anyone recommend a bike carrier for a T6 with barn doors that can't take a tow bar because of water / gas tank? Fammia looks good but would need 3-4 bikes ideally. Is there even one?

We have a westfalia removable tow ball for our bike rack, its never left fitted else i smash my shins on it . Its never been mentioned on any mot .

I have a similar Thule box and on my bike rack I have the function onto the rack away from the van. You might have to consider a different tow bar rack. I'll post pics when I can get them smaller so that they can be posted ( iPhone 15 files too big for forum!!! Good job I don't use the Z8 - 45 Mp)
