Half the modifications I see on here aren't what VW suggest! :slow rofl:

Hi @LondonLad so I have the same issue, I have 18" 255/45, so 17" transporter wheel is OK with larger calipers and the 235/55 on the wheel fits under there OK or is it a squeeze? I'm driving through Spain later this month and don't want to do it with just the repair kit.
There is only 1 size...
Is it ok to recommend Performance Alloys by the way? They were really helpful for me finding load- rated alloys that were a direct fit for the T32…..

The sticker inside my door says 52psi front and 46psi rear for a 17" tyre. Im running 18" bandeds with 255/55/18 tyres. The advice given to me is to run them to what the sticker says. Mines a t32 lwb shuttle. Anyones thoughts on this please?.
Hi Stevie
The 255/50 18’s are working a treat on mine. I can only compare the OE 215/60 17’s all seasons it came with but they soak up the crap road surfaces way better.
The gearing change is just noticeable on acceleration but feels nicer in the lower gears as I’m not in such a rush to get...
The door controllers (subsystem 1 & 2) are lost - how did that happen? Does central locking work, electric windows, mirror adjustment?
Also multi-function steering wheel controller (subsystem 3) has disappeared? Do the buttons work?

Hi.
I would love BF Goodrich tyres. I know absolutely nothing about tyres (like nothing, they are black and round is about my knowledge limit) so I am hoping for help.
We have bought 18 inch alloys that have winter tyres on them. They will need to be replaced as they are coming to the end of...
Hi, I've put on Amorok wheels on my 2019 transporter. wheel size is 235 / 55 / 18. Tyres are Pirelli Scorpions Verde rated 104, They are perfect & have little or no speedo error readout. Just make sure you don't get the 16" rims off an Amorok as they don't spin past the brake calipers.
Mick, do those 255/55s scrub? I tried the same size and although they didn't scrub on normal lock they did like hell when the suspension was compressed even slightly (soft off road). Only interested as I wonder if different brands differ???
Looks great by the way.
On absolute full lock it catches the inside of the arch liner and rubs a patch the size of a 50p. Could be quickly fixed with a hot air gun or some small spacers, but it doesn’t bother me enough to have worked it’s way up the loooong list yet!
